@jrconlin @mossop all these good thoughts and questions the compiler put in your heads. and even for free! :D heap allocations, mutation, hash operations, null/empty checks. I know itβs all super verbose and annoying but I really think this is also Rustβs strength. So much preferable over runtime errors imho
@mossop yup itβs quite verbose. Sometimes the distinction from None to empty String to literal is quite important though. Not for most higher level applications admittedly:-))
